In February of 2018, I started broadcasting live music every morning on Facebook to hang out with folks and hopefully provide a nice little soundtrack to get their days kicked off in a pleasant way.
In doing so, a truly incredible community of funny, generous, quirky, and genius people would gather together to hear silly standards and original songs on the regular. This gaggle, fondly called the "Cafe Crew," have evolved into true friends and champions.
To celebrate this magical community, a special live stream event will mark Crooner Coffee Hour's sixth anniversary!

We’ll be starting at about the normal time (11AM EST), but I’m not sure how long we’ll go. Historically, this has been a long one (3-4 hours).

What Will Be Special About This Event??
I'll be taking requests and playing songs as always, but I’ll ALSO have some special limited edition merch items available (been a while since that’s been a thing!), I’ll host a trivia segment and other games for prizes, MAD LIBS will return, I’ll be gifting/hosting our first-ever ANNUAL CCH AWARDS(!), and we’ll just have a gay old time. 🥳 I might even have a few SURPRISES up my sleeve!

As a special bonus, I am lifting a couple standard-stream "rules:"
1) the few songs that are normally donation-only will have their pay-gate waived for this stream!
2) ALL holiday songs will be available to be requested!
3) All songs that have been on the list at some point but are typically marked as "deactivated" for whatever reason will be marked as "active" - so trainwrecks are sure to ensue! enjoy my misery and embarrassment!
It was suggested that we have short blocks of time reserved for requests of songs from the other projects, so I will honor this. There will be smaller time blocks reserved during this event for anyone wanting to request a ONE BIG DARK ROOM, LEGACY LEX LAND, or stripped-down MOORHAUNTER song. (Prob 15-30 minute blocks of each, likely during the later end of the event.)

For every SHARE of the Facebook broadcast, $1 will be donated to SIMS, which provides mental health care resources for Austin Musicians and Austin music industry professionals. So let’s rack up those shares!
The FIRST TEN unique individuals to leave a COMMENT on the Facebook stream will be sent a limited edition CCH Sixth Birthday pin in the mail, on me!
*Facebook Views would help: Even if you prefer to watch/chat on Twitch or YouTube, if you have a FB account and don’t mind logging into it, sharing from it, chatting there, and adding to the viewer count on FB (even passively) will significantly increase its visibility and engagement there especially if it happens in the first 10-30 minutes of the event. I would really appreciate your watching from there if you can!

You do not need a Facebook/YouTube/Twitch account to watch, but you must login to one of these if you wish to participate in the chat or win most of the prizes - which I hope you will!
If you’re a member of our community forum and opt-in to Live notifications, you’ll also receive push notifications on the day of the event (an early one to remind, one a little before we start, and once we’re live, usually).
